| The Firestone Farm at the Henry Ford Greenfield Village, Dearborn MI is a
19th century working farm. I have spent many Saturdays exploring the farmhouse and barn, looking for unique facets of farm life to capture on film. These photographs are not staged. I photograph tools and farm implements where the farm hands left them after they did their chores. The barn, chicken coop, and yard have provided me with a number of interesting images.
Plowing fields, planting crops, and bringing in the harvest is hard labor the earlier farmers endured because as with their forefathers, they appreciated the bounty the land could provide. |
